Best class award is instituted to recognise the talents and capabilities of the students coming from different strata of the society. Under this, the individual performance is not taken into account but group performance is measured and evaluated both in qualitative and quantitative form. This award encourages a class to come forward and exhibit their talents.
His Excellency Mar Joseph Kallamgattu, Patron of the college was gracious enough to institute the trophy. PTA of the college will give the cash award of Rs.5000 to the best selected class.

Learning Journal is a personal encyclopaedia of students. This is a collection of their everyday insights, striking new items, photos, general knowledge acquired, excerpts from good articles, speeches etc. Creative writings of students are also part of it. Learning journals of all the students will be adjudged by a team of judges and prizes will be awarded for the best journals in each class. Journals will also be considered for the best class evaluation. This practice is established as a knowledge enhancement programme.
