National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is an online learning initiative started by the Ministry of Education, Government of India to provide high-quality education through the internet. It was developed by premier institutes like Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
NPTEL courses are offered through the online learning platform SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds). These courses include video lectures, assignments, quizzes, and exams conducted by expert professors from IITs and other top institutions.

A session was conducted for BCA 1st year students to explain the benefits of National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) and to guide them on how to enroll in NPTEL courses through the SWAYAM platform.
During the session, students were informed about the advantages of NPTEL courses, such as gaining knowledge from expert faculty, improving technical skills, and obtaining recognized certificates that enhance career opportunities. The importance of online learning and skill development through NPTEL courses was also highlighted.
Students were provided with step-by-step guidance on how to create an account, search for suitable courses, enroll in NPTEL programmes, and complete the course requirements. The session also included a doubt-clearing segment where students’ questions regarding course registration, assignments, and certification were addressed.
The session helped students clearly understand the process of enrolling in NPTEL courses and encouraged them to actively participate in online learning opportunities for their academic and professional development.
A session was conducted for first-year BBA students to explain the benefits of enrolling in National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) courses offered through the SWAYAM online learning platform.
During the session, students were introduced to the importance of NPTEL courses and how these courses help in improving academic knowledge, developing professional skills, and gaining certificates recognized by premier institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The advantages of participating in online courses for career development and lifelong learning were also discussed.
Students were then guided through the step-by-step procedure for enrolling in NPTEL courses using Android mobile phones. The instructor demonstrated the registration process, course search, and enrollment through the SWAYAM platform. As part of the live session, all students were assisted in creating their accounts and successfully enrolling in suitable NPTEL courses during the class itself.The session was interactive and helped students clearly understand the process of accessing and benefiting from NPTEL–SWAYAM courses, encouraging them to actively participate in online learning opportunities.
