Holy Cross Providential Enlightenment Service (Reg. No. K-70/08) is the social outreach wing of BVM Holy Cross College, Cherpunkal. Our NGO carries out social welfare activities with professionally trained social work students headed by the Department of Social Work assuring the holistic development of the society.

Research and Documentation
Research on the Needs of Differently Abled: The State Commissioner and Ex-Officio Secretary to the Government requested by order no. to collect data on the life situations of the differently abled and recommend measures to renew them. HOPES completed it successfully.
Project AXSHYA: TB Awareness Programme
HOPES is engaged in the programs of Project AXSHYA – an attempt by CHAI to eradicate TB from our state. HOPES carries out awareness classes, surveys and community programs on this cause.
Child Education Sponsorship Program
Child Education Sponsorship Program is the flagship project of HOPES, providing educational support to the needy and marginalized children. Locating the financially backward pupils, HOPES mobilizes financial resources and provides them with study materials and extends mentoring services. Presently HOPES supports fifty students.
Village Adoption Programs
HOPES adopts villages and caters to its multiple needs; primarily educational needs. HOPES identifies the communities that require a helping hand and extends its professional social work support to them.
