Alumni Association

The Alumni Association of BVM Holy Cross College, Cherpunkal is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1999. The Association is dedicated to maintaining and strengthening the bond between the College and its alumni. It also provides a platform for alumni to connect with each other and to support the College.

Objectives

  • To keep the former students and staff of this college in constant touch with the Alma Mater.
  • To foster mutual contacts and fellowship among the members of the association.
  • To encourage and promote academic excellence among the students of the college by organizing competitions and institution of awards and scholarships.
  • To help the college to attain the objectives of higher education preparing the youth to become intellectually mature, socially committed, spiritually inspired and morally upright.
  • To help the authority for all-round progress and development of the College.

Activities

The Alumni Association organizes a variety of events and activities throughout the year. These include:

  • Alumni Day: This is the flagship event of the Association and is held annually on the last week of December. The event is an opportunity for alumni to come together and to celebrate their time at the College.
  • Career Guidance Workshops: The Association organizes career guidance workshops for students to help them prepare for their careers.
  • Mentorship Program: The Association has a mentorship program that pairs alumni with current students. This program provides students with the opportunity to learn from and be mentored by successful alumni.
  • Scholarship Program: The Association offers scholarships to meritorious students.
