January 23 – Fraternity and Social Harmony for an Inclusive and United India

The Minority Cell organized a Value Education programme on the theme “Fraternity and Social Harmony for an Inclusive and United India” on 23 January 2026 as part of its efforts to promote constitutional values and inclusive social awareness among students. The session highlighted the significance of fraternity as enshrined in the Preamble of the Constitution of India, emphasizing the spirit of brotherhood that transcends barriers of caste, religion, language, and region. The programme encouraged students to reflect on the role of mutual respect, dignity, and unity in building a socially harmonious nation.

The programme further connected these ideals with the spirit of Republic Day, encouraging students to internalize constitutional values through empathy, volunteerism, and social responsibility. By fostering dialogue and reflection, the event aimed to nurture socially conscious youth committed to equality, justice, and national integration. The Minority Cell continues to foster values of inclusion, mutual respect, and responsible democratic citizenship among students through such initiatives.
